Coco Rocha's APT

Photos: Vogue
Vogue has started a new feature article 'APT with LSD'
in which Lauren Santo Domingo gets an inside look at the homes and apartments of some of Vogue’s favorite people—from models to designers, actors, stylists, artists, and more. I was excited to find out Coco Rocha has opened up her two-bedroom Gramercy Park, Manhattan apartment for the first feature with Vogue.

She has some pretty great pieces, Andy Warhol's actual candle holders from his an estate sale, custom made closet, handbag piggy bank that looks like YSL but reads '
you've saved la rent', LOVE!

Fall Inspiration

Photos: streetsfn.com, lookbook.nu, style by kling, stockholm streetstyle

Lately I have not been very fashion inspired, hence the lack of posts! With the change in seasons I always get into a bit of a rut. But today I am feeling it, I want to run to the store and shop shop shop. I love these looks, Elin's red pants, Isabel Marant inspired??? I also am obsessed with her camel coat, maybe one day it will get hot enough in Austin for that...

The animal print pieces; on trend for this fall. I have a few great leopard print items from previous seasons but am ready for some additions. I am on the hunt for a less expensive oversize leopard clutch.

Welcome FALL!

How great are these pieces?! Inspired by Indian and African tribes, from tiered rows of skull-beads and spiked cuff bracelets to delicate geometrics suspended from thin gold chains.

DVF + Yvan

Photos: style.com
I think I'm in love with Diane von Furstenberg's 2011 collection! The new creative director, Yvan Mispelaere and DVF clearly make an amazing team. Yvan Mispelaere most recently headed up the women's design studio at Gucci, and earlier this decade he worked under Phoebe Philo at ChloƩ,

For the duo's first collection together they dove into the house’s vast archives, which includes some 10,000 prints, and resurfaced with a bold selection. Inspired by the Ballet Russes, the collection was Signature DVF, but magnified with intense colors, brazen prints and nonchalant silhouettes. See more of the collection here style.com

Interior Crush!

I am in love with this interior, love the girliness! It's amazing how pretty flowers can make a space. I wish I could see more!

I am currently working on my new abode so I am all about home decor blogs at the moment. I am trying to work our furniture and decor from our previous house to our new Austin house. Things are going pretty well just not at the pace I would like. Currently, the electricians are moving plugs where I need them as well as putting in my fixtures, money I despise spending! I will post pics soon!

Lanvin hearts H&M!

"H & M suggested a collaboration to see if we could translate the dream we have created at Lanvin to a wider audience without compromising quality.
I have previously said that I would never do a collaboration with a fashion chain, but what attracted me was the idea of making H & M luxury, rather than adapting Lanvin to the public. There has been an exceptional experience and journey, in which two firms at opposite positions have been able to work together as philosophy - which is to spread joy and beauty for women and men around the world - is the same, "said Alber Elbaz, artistic director at Lanvin.

This will be an amazing collaboration, I just need to get my personal shopper in LA on board to wake up in the wee hours and get the stuff I want!!!

Creative Minds Unite: Jeanssssss

Marni / Current Elliott (~$350)

Proenza Schouler / J Brand ($550)

Designers unite to produce limited addition jeans. This is PS's first jean ever which is pretty cool, although the price is quite high, it is like a collectors item. As for the Marni collab some jeans are the C/E design with a Marni screen print, and some are Marni designs in the C/E denim. Quite genius really. Find them both at Saks.
